- Two (1964) by Satyajit Ray
Satyajit Ray was the only director who took Indian Cinema to the world cinema platform through films like The Apu Trilogy, Jalshaghar, Charulata, etc.
Two was made by Satyajit Ray as a silent film for the American Television Channel PBS. It involves a rich kid living in a big house and a slum kid living in front of his house and a silent display of their toys. This was at that time highly symbolic.
