  1. Nikos Andritsakis

This Greek Indian is widely respected for his work in Byomkesh Bakshy in which he provided an unparalleled Noir look to dark thriller. Although he hasn’t worked in a huge commercially successful film till now, his fans are constantly increasing and include the legendary Anurag Kashyap to its list.

Anurag Kashyap’s Ugly which premiered at Cannes Film Festival also had his view and required a drastically different feel to it. He continued to provide the audience with blissful visuals in Shanghai which unfortunately failed at Box Office and wasn’t like much by critics either. Having said that, it is almost impossible to ignore the efforts Andritsakis has put in.

We hope to see much more of his genius-at-work in the future.
