So here we are picking a Film submission detailing For Short Filmmakers, A film festival named Dam short film Festival that’s held annually in Nevada, United States. The festival was founded by Lee Lanier and Anita Lanier in 2005. Till 2004, it was held in the small space of Dam Short Film Society and later in 2005, it initiated its own film festival with the financial aid from- The Art Institute (Nevada), Hacienda Hotel and Casino, Cirque du Soleil and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The festival is showcasing 100-150 short films annually. Apart short films, it also conducts special screenings and retrospectives in some of its festival secessions. The festival is principally aiming to encourage films of student filmmakers, Indie-filmmakers and Works from New Generation Film Makers. Believe It or Not Hollywood’s high rated Filmmakers Michael York, Bela Lugosi, Tom Hanks and William Shatner’s films once showcased in this Film Festival.

Dam Short film Festival is now calling entries From Filmmakers for Its Next festival In February 10-13, 2016.  Early submission date valid Till April 20 and the submission charge will be about $20 and the late submission date expires on November 24 and the charges will be $35 USD.
