About The Film Festival: Bangalore International Short Film Festival (Or) BISFF is a premium short film festival, which is organized by Suchitra Film Society In 2010. Bangalore International Short Film Festival is one of the most successful film festivals in India. Theirs official representative said that “On 2014 we’ve received 500+ short films from 50 Countries and we expect more short film entries on this year”.

Filmmakers or Official Representatives can submit their short film through BISFF’s online submission partners like Film Freeway, reel port, fest home, filmfestivallife.com and clickforfestivals.com

Mandatory Rules

The short film must below the running time of 30 Minutes. There are three sections of short film submission in Bangalore International Short Film Festival that are International Competition Films, international non-competition films and student competition films. The films that has to be produced before within one year is eligible for applying in International competition section, similarly the films that has to be produced within last three year is eligible for applying in International Non-Competition section and student Non Competition section.
An applicant must submit short film in any of these formats such as DVD-R, DVD+R Dual Layer, DVD+R and DVD-R Dual Layer. If these film submission formats are practicably not possible then submit the film through video sharing sites like YouTube and Vimeo
Incomplete applications will reject without a prior notification; also there is no particular restriction in film submission count, but multiple projects must submit in different DVD’S
English Subtitle, Short Film trailers are mandatory for all submissions
