The Media School at Bournemouth University is conducting a storytelling contest for Students, bloggers, artists and writers. The program titled as New Media Writing Prize (NMWP) is looking for innovative and highly interactive storytelling (fiction or nonfiction) made specifically for the delivery and reading/viewing on any computer operating software (Windows or Mac), or a hand-held gadget such as a mobile phone or an iPad.

The entry could be a short story (based on any theme), novel, documentary or poem using words, images, film or animation with audience interaction. The title winner will receive US$1,298 and a three-month work opportunity at the e-learning company Unicorn Training, based in Bournemouth, United Kingdom.

The usual deadline is Nov. 30 and the deadline for those participating in student category is Dec. 16.
