The Young Critics Lab was established for fostering young writing talent in cinema. It equips young talents from India with tools for writing and talking about cinema in a manner which is insightful, relevant, personal and knowledgeable.

The Young Critics Lab is looking for applicants who are the citizens of India and are between 18 to 25 years of age. It is mandatory to submit your valid age proof and the selected candidates need to carry it to their session. The applications must be submitted in English or Hindi. The writing has to be original and plagiarized content will be immediately rejected. The shortlisted candidates will be notified about their selection after the selection process ends. The selected candidates who do not attend all the three rounds will also be disqualified.

The writing samples have to be in a PDF format of less than 5 MB. The ID proofs and images are to be less than 2 MB and in JPEG format. The process of application submission is strictly online. Offline applications will not be accepted. The last date of entry submission is June 30^th, 2018.
