The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and National Film Archive of India (NFAI) jointly conducting a Film Appreciation course in Pune for giving a perfect platform to polish the skills of the movie lovers across the country. This Information was first shared with us by Prakash Magdum, the director of NFAI.
Film Appreciation Course; What is it?
A course that giving the narrative overview of Films. The course syllabus is designed in a way which helps the researchers who are keen in, learning the narrative style of Films.
Who can apply?
Anyone who is passionate in films can apply for this Film Appreciation Course. However, the applicant must have completed 21 years of age as on 01.04.2016
What’s the fee required to apply for this Film appreciation course?
Course Fee: 12, 500/- ( Pay only after receiving the selection confirmation from NFAI.)
Hostel Fees: 6,000/-

An Advance copy of the duly filled in application form can be submitted through e-mail to [email protected].
The Application fee will be Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred Only) will be taken as a Demand Draft in favour of”Accounts Officer, Film &Television Institute of India, Pune” or Transferred online FTII. Statement Regarding NFAI Film Appreciation workshop by the officials
This is an intensive course designed to promote comprehensive understanding and insights into the nature of Cinema and other related forms and practices. These include recent developments like independent films, digital art and diverse practices that come under broad umbrella of New Media. The Course is primarily designed to meet the needs ofteachers/scholars interested in introducing film study activities in educational institutions, media practitioners, film society organisers, researchers, Govt. officials handling films and serious cinephiles.
