Hello FMF, I have written a 1st draft of my short film. I have two questions-
1. Can I register short film script to FWA ?
2. Can I register 1st draft of my script or I need to have final draft for submission?

Hi, I’m a bit late to the party but I do think this is very good information.

I have a copyright (in the US) on a couple scripts and, without going into detail, they have really saved me. It’s worth any extra work and cost to have an official registration.

I’m planning a trip to India right at the new year (2018) and will be seeking work as an actor (but, of course, with scripts under my arm).

I’m wondering if it’s better to head to Pune or to Mumbai to seek casting calls and (paid) work. I have a pretty strong resume in the states, but I wonder if there might be some good roles I might play in films there.

Any advice or contact is much appreciated!

This is really helpful. A good friend of mine will love it because he had this habit of writing and reviewing Hindi movies and the good thing is it not cost much to register your work.
