This year, the Children International Film Festival of India (ICFFI) will be held in Hyderabad from November 14 to 20, Says Officials.

Mr. Sunil Arora, the Secretary of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, said in a press statement ‘This year, the festival should be more amusing and Informative. We had received a good number of Film Entries in this year, i.e. exactly 1204 entries from 80 countries. The opening and the closing ceremony of the ICFFI will be held at Lalitha Kala Thoranam, Hyderabad. The 6 day film festival will be showcasing 300+ films at 12 Movie Theatres.  ’

The selected films will be premiered in international, International short, Asian Panorama and Little Directors Categories. In the little directors’ category, the films that made by children at the age of 16 (or) below to that age, is selected for the premiering. Along with the festival, there will be  a digital filmmaking workshop also planned to conduct at this event.
